Sublime Text – Syntax Highlighting Not Working

Home / Blog / Sublime Text – Syntax Highlighting Not Working

Did your syntax highlighting for an installed package (e.g. Jade, Coffeescript, Stylus, etc.) suddenly stop working? This helped me.

  1. Press command + shit + p to bring up the Command Palette (also under Tools > Command Pallette…)
  2. Type in “enable”
  3. From the dropdown menu, click on “Enable Package”
  4. Either an alert will pop up telling you that there are no disabled packages (sorry I couldn’t help!) OR a dropdown will appear with a list of disabled packages
  5. Click on the name of the syntax that was (mysteriously?) disabled, and voila. Back in business.
